Meet Chief Judge Gary Bobileff

Gary S. Bobileff started working with Ferrari’s in 1969 as a Mechanic’s Apprentice at Luigi Chinetti Motors, in Greenwich Connecticut. In 1976, Mr. Bobileff was retained as the General Service Manager and Head Mechanic for The Ferrari Store, a Ferrari Factory Authorized Service Center located in Santa Ana, California. Mr. Bobileff then left that organization to start his own business, Bobileff Motorcar Company of San Diego in 1979. Our LVCE Chairman, Stuart Sobek, first met Gary in 1985 when Gary was helping him restore his first Lamborghini, a 400GT 2+2, and they have remained friends for the past 36 years. “The long history of our friendship will ensure that we work seamlessly to reach our mutual goal”, stated Sobek, “of Las Vegas being one of the most important and respected Concours d’Elegance events on the circuit.

In his area of expertise, his success has been quantified in 1st place Awards for complete (including mechanical) restoration from ground up at the world renowned Pebble Beach Concours, as well as winning the Hans Tanner Award at Pebble Beach Concours, and dozens of other concours around world.

Mr. Bobileff is recognized as a highly qualified Concours Judge with more than 38 years’ experience.

· Gary was the ONLY American invited and asked to judge in 2019 for the Lamborghini Factory Concours at Portopiccolo, Italy

· Now Gary will reside as the Chief Judge for the 2021 Las Vegas Concours
